Usually the question doesn’t come up because of a stain or a ring, but just to keep them in perfect shape.

First of all, dear friends, try to use your leather shoes not every day, thus avoiding humidity and persistent smell. Always use socks with closed shoes to avoid halos by sweat. How to clean leather shoes? Let’s get real.

Leather shoes should never be put in the washing machine, it will ruin them, and is mandatory to keep them safe from tints and light, to avoid miscolouring. Remove the dirt by gently, periodically sweeping. This is the first step.

You are right, surely it is not enough on how to clean leather shoes.

For the cleaning operations, you will need:

• A brush for shoes

• A soft rag

• Water

• Cream paste for leather, wax, or shoes polisher

Should the footwear have laces, please remove them before proceeding.

Remove dust and dirt by gently sweeping the shoes with your brush and rag. It is possible to moisten a little bit the rag and pass it on the upper.

Second, read carefully the instructions of any leather products you are going to apply, then test them on a little spot before applying to the whole shoe.

Wash with plain water the footwear and let it dry safe from wheat sources or direct sunlight.

Lastly, apply your favourite leather product, accurately following their specific procedure.
